Mises vs. Marx - The March of History

I’m extremely pleased to announce the release of “The March of History,” an artistic/intellectual project of the American Institute for Economic Research three years in the making. It pits Austrian economist Ludwig von Mises against the godfather of socialism, Karl Marx, in a rap battle that spans more than 150 years of history, philosophy, and economic theory. The debate between socialists and capitalists is just as topical today as it was in 1848, as is obvious from the headlines today.

So many people were involved in this project from generous donors to hard-working actors and editors and everyone in between. I would like to thank them all individually but of course I must single out the real genius behind the lyrics and story: John Papola of Emergent Order. He has been such a pleasure to work with on this project.

You will notice that the video contains subtitles in most major languages. Be sure to go to MisesMarx.com to watch the additional videos alongside the interactive lyrics.
