The Future of School Choice: From Parent Revolution to Policy Reality

March 3 @ 7:00 pm8:00 pm

Join us for our first virtual Harwood Salon of 2026.

Recent years have seen significant changes in school choice policy across the United States, driven by increased parental engagement and state-level reform efforts. As these policies move from proposal to implementation, questions around legislative design, institutional incentives, and long-term durability have taken on renewed importance.

In this virtual conversation, Corey DeAngelis examines the current state of school choice and the policy considerations now facing lawmakers. The discussion will focus on how recent reforms are being structured, where they face political or legal constraints, and what upcoming legislative decisions may mean for the future of education policy.

This event looks beyond the origins of the school choice movement to assess how policy frameworks are evolving in practice and which choices will shape outcomes for families, educators, and policymakers in the years ahead. The conversation will conclude with a Q&A session so attendees can engage directly with our speaker.
