What Comes Next for Trade & National Security?

May 13 @ 7:00 pm8:00 pm

What role does trade play in a free and prosperous society?

In April, AIER brought together scholars and policy experts to discuss the intersection of trade and national security. This virtual Harwood Salon continues that conversation, focusing on what those ideas mean for the broader public.

Join us as Don Boudreaux explores how evolving national security concerns are reshaping trade policy—and what that means for economic freedom and human flourishing. The conversation will be moderated by Paul Mueller and will include a live Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to engage directly with the ideas and discussion.

This event connects complex policy debates to everyday life, offering a clearer understanding of how global decisions influence opportunity, growth, and prosperity at home.
