Many thoughtful  citizens, concerned for  the future of  their children and grandchildren, are asking, Can our  Republic  survive? Such citizens have learned that inflation is the great destroyer of organ­ ized   societies;  and   they   know from the  lessons of history,  including events during their own lifetimes, that  republics have  been  especially vulnerable to the destructive influences of inflation.
