Jon is currently an economics Ph.D. student at George Mason University, at which he is a Graduate Fellow in the F.A. Hayek Program and a Ph.D. Fellow at the Mercatus Center.

His research interests are public finance, fiscal sociology, and constitutional political economy.

Jon holds an M.A. in Economics from American University and a B.Sci. from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

He worked as a financial underwriter in insurance prior to entering academia.
