Coming Effects of Current Events; A Re-Distribution of Wealth; Commercial Failures; Supply, Demand, and Prices

Power production has moved up another notch and is now within 2.7 percent of the all time high recorded for the week ending December 21, 1929. It is barely possible that the 1,860,000,000 kilowatt hours total for that period will be exceeded during the next few weeks. Of course, the seasonal peak is at this time of year ordinarily, but a sudden spurt of automobile production might give the extra boost needed during the near future.
